Well the time has come for our baby gender reveal. I can't believe its already here. In case you didn't experience the moment when we found out what Grant was I will explain it again.
We go to the ultrasound with an envelope (see below) and inside that envelope is a paper that says "its a boy" on one side and "its a girl" on the other side. The ultrasound tech has us look away while she checked out the gender then she circled the appropriate gender. We then took the (sealed) envelope to Gap where we decided to shop for an outfit this time. We explained the situation to the clerk (she almost started crying) and we started to shop. We ended up picking out one boy and one girl outfit (see below). We then gave the envelope and the outfits to the clerk. She took the loot to the back room where we could not see her. She opened the envelope and wrapped up the right outfit and brought it out for us to take with us to dinner. She had removed the tags so she could ring it up, then we turned around while she slipped the receipt and tags into the box. We then went out to dinner (with 25 friends and kids) and opened the gift.
It was such an amazing night. We had such a great time. and are so grateful to all of our friends who took time out of the busy nights to celebrate with us. We are so blessed
ps, did I mention that it was also my birthday??? Ya, perfect birthday present if you ask me!
