Soccer Season has begun

This year soccer is taking over our lives!!! Not only is Seth back into the sport, but Evan is having his introduction to it as well. It is so cute to witness this field full of 3 year olds trying to remember which way to kick the ball. These first pictures are of Evans first soccer practice. They play the red light green light game. Evan is really a go getter at practice.
This is little Kaley. She is a girl in our ward that happens to be on Evans soccer team! Too cute.

Grant sure does enjoy the games.

Seths soccer game was first. He rocked of course. The other team slaughtered them. 13-2, but the cool thing is that Seth scored those 2 goals! He is quite a good little player.

My cute little posers

Headed out to the big game!

Evan did great the first little bit (meaning like 30 seconds) Then it was all down hill from there. He cried about every 10 steps he took. He kept falling down, and would just walk down the sidelines. 2 pictures up you can see him walking while everyone else was playing. The other teams coach even helped Evan out - she was awesome. She would cheer him on when he would do ANYTHING. She would grab his hand and help him get back into the game. It was really cute. He was so cute though. At one point the ball had been kicked out and the whistle to stop play had been blown. I guess Evan didn't know what that meant and he saw the ball all by its self and nobody around. So what do you do??? He took off running with it towards the other teams goal. Everyone started cheering (including the other coach) and we watched him score his first goal!!! I just laughed, it was sooo cute. I just love my little Evan bug! This was pretty much the face we got to look at during his time on the "bench" He was not a happy little soccer star. Have no fear, these past 2 games since then have been very different. I think he wasn't feeling good, combined with the anxiety of performance. Not good!

Snacks at the end of the game always make it worth it.
