For Christmas this year we went to Heber, Utah to be with my family. On our way there we had a little adventure. We hit a MOOSE!
Ok, it wasn't as bad as that sounds but it was scary. Mike was driving, the roads were wet, it was dark and a little foggy. We came around a bend and there was a moose just ahead walking out into the road (from the passenger side). Mike tried to slam on the brakes but realized that it wasn't going to do anything to stop us, then he quickly looked to his left and saw a car just behind us in the other lane. He swerved as much as he could but we hit the head of the moose on the passenger side window and mirror! It was such a loud noise! It broke the casing around our mirror but other than that, and a bandaid on the nose of the moose, we were all ok! Thanks for your quick thinking and reacting Mike!
Sledding fun in Heber! We had such a good time out in the snow. I love this next sequence of pictures of Jared and Evan. We loved hanging out with all our family. Jared and Danielle were definetly the hit of the week because they don't have kids of their own yet so they have plenty of energy for the rest of our kids! My kids just absolutely love their cousins. They had fun playing and I think they even enjoyed the times that they fought! Above is a picture of Seth and his cousin Jaren. 
Little Madelynn is always such a hoot! She gives the best scowls and then will go right into a huge smile! Such a cutie!
