One afternoon while in Eureka we took a drive to go see some giant redwood trees. On the way we came across this field with some Elk. I thought this was cute with the sign! We found a trail leading to a large redwood tree. Grant was asleep in the car so we left him with Aunt Mona who had walked the trail already. We walked a little ways stopping to take fun pics. The trees were HUGE! We tried stretching us all around them several times. On our way back to the car we heard this pitter patter and the cutest giggling! We came around a bend and found Grant running down the path just laughing the whole way. So we stopped at some of the same spots on the way back so Grant could be in some of our pictures.
We thought this one looked like a giant monkey hanging upside down and reaching its finger out to touch the other tree
On the way back to the cabin we saw all these Elk in this little town type place.
